A Better Chance is a national network of independent schools that have partnered with the A Better Chance organisation (ABC) to collaborate and improve on inclusiveness and attracting minority students to their schools.

ABOUT

Based in New York City, A Better Chance has been working with the brightest and most capable pupils to overcome adversity and challenges to ensure that the best educational opportunities are available to them since 1963. The organisation achieves this by partnering with the best public and private schools and colleges across the United States (including a significant portion of NAIS member schools, with ABC also being a corporate member of NAIS). ABC also administers a bespoke college-preparatory model which sees selected pupils admitted to their residential high school programme embedded in or operating alongside nationally renowned schools (both private and public) or colleges.

The prestigious schools, universities and liberal arts colleges that comprise the membership of A Better Chance are amongst the leading educational institutions in the country, with many being well-known internationally.

Membership is only available to those candidates that have been vetted by the organisation and have been approved as meeting a strict set of criteria demonstrating their commitment to inclusiveness and diversity.
