Associations, DirectoriesThe Independent School Council of New York City was a consortium of four top New York college-preparatory schools that came together in the 1970s to form a consortium, consolidating various aspects of their academic and business operations. The four members were considered to be amongst the most selective and exclusive schools in the city and had a long history of working together as peer schools.
The Small College Consortium (SCC) is an association of nationally-ranked, highly selective, private liberal arts colleges from across the United States. These are amongst the most prestigious tertiary education institutions in North America and competition for places at these schools is extremely high. Despite their small size, these colleges are often rated on an equal footing to much larger research universities due to the high quality educational programme on offer and the excellent resources and facilities available.
The Associated Colleges of the Midwest (ACM) is a consortium of nationally-recognised, highly-selective, private small liberal arts colleges dotted around the American Midwestern states. The schools work closely with one another to advance the case for selective liberal arts colleges, to support the delivery of their top-ranked degree programmes and to foster collaboration and synergies between member colleges.
