The York Boarding Schools Group is a network and marketing association whose members include a select cadre of outstanding boarding schools from across the historic county of Yorkshire in the north of England, but mainly centered around the county’s ceremonial capital city of York. Its member schools offer a variety of educational opportunities, accepting boarders at primary and/or secondary level. The association was founded in 1995 as a means of encouraging networking between member schools and to develop a collective approach to marketing and promotion of those schools and the benefits of boarding in Yorkshire and the attractiveness of York.
