STATEN ISLAND ACADEMY

A small independent school in Staten Island and the borough’s only non-denominational private school, Staten Island Academy was founded in 1884 as a Latin school in the grammar school tradition. The school currently educates boys and girls as a K-12 college-preparatory school with pupils regularly being awarded places at Ivy League and other top tier colleges and universities.
